Saturday Surgery Sessions, serving up to 30 patients in a single day, are scheduled 1-4 times per year at certain medical centers.
 

Physician volunteers are matched with patients based on their availability to participate in a scheduled session. 

Nurses, technicians, physician assistants, LVNs and other professionals volunteer at scheduled sessions. Representative areas include: Anesthesia; OR; Gastroenterolgy; PACU; ASU; Environmental Services.
